Lorena is probably the most respectable athelete in the world! She plays at or near the top of her sport for years and is a pure joy to watch and listen to. I've just about stopped watching the PGA because of poor little rich boys throwing tantrums when the hit a bad shot. One in particular comes to mind who should frown at himself for not being a better role model. I just wish all major sports figures had the attitude that Lorena had, loving what they do and greatful to be doing it as a job!

It would be hard to give you ANY advice, however I'd say from here, STAY FOCUSED on your game. You are probably being harrased by 'well intentioned' LPGA members envious of your accomplishments, you forget all that and STAY FOCUSED. You can DO IT.

I just wanted to congratulate Lorena for her win at the Ginn Open. It is such an awesome time for her!! She is a very positive role model for all latina athletes on BOTH sides of the border. I just wish that the U.S. would stop hating. Please give her the props she is due. Period.

Did anyone else catch the Golf Channel last night when Andrew Magee slurred Lorena by referring to her Bandwagon of followers as a 'Beanwagon". The other commentators were shocked and one even opened his mouth in disbelief. They quickly moved on.They pretended that nothing happened. I would hope that ALL of Lorena's fans would e-mail The Golf Channel to ask why Magee said what he said and why.

I don't know who the hell the writer is in this article...but he is an arrogant dumb ass. You don't speak for americans on this issue...what a flagrantly stupid assumption to state Lorena is a Mexican and that is why she isn't treated, in his words, favorably, by the media. She is a class act. humble. gracious. giving. warm and friendly and on top of that, one of the finest golf athletes around. The writer's ignorance and ill founded assumptions could easily hurt the feelings of a lesser person. Thank God Lorena is far above the IQ level of the writer. I'm a all American white dude who simply enjoys watching Lorean and other top athletes perform at their best. The writer is unfortunately, just so much cleet grass.
