I became a big fan of Lorena after following her flight for 3 days at the HSBC Women's Champions. She is awesome. I'm so impressed by the distance of her drive and the incredible consistency and accuracy of her second shot. She was also having fun and sharing a good time with Ai Miyazato and Paula Creamer when she shot 65 on the second day. I'm inspired! Next year when she comes again, I will be following her 4 days.

I been a golf fan for many years. When I started viewing the LPGA, your preformance and conduct really made me very happy that there still true professionals in golf. Since, Lee Trevino semi-retired, there has not been another golfer in my book that had brought fun and repect to the name of golf until now.

It is a sad story that Lorena Ochoa doesn't get endorsements and recognition for her outstanding accomplishments in golf. It seems "sexy" is the driving factor for the media and backers, that is the only reason Wei gets so much attention. She surely doesn't deserve it, her golf performance is in question as far as I'm concerned. She reminds me of a poutty teenager with highly overrated skills. Please give credit where credit is due. Lorena brings back the wonderful times of Nancy Lopez, she is the new Lopez in talent and personallity, please give her her due.

Lorena is getting more and more attention every week. Everybody was simply looking in the wrong directions for the next superstar(s). Several Korean players, Creamer, and a few others were the subject of media guesses as to who would be next to rise to the top. The media was wrong. Ochoa, and also Petersen, charged to the head of the pack and caught everybody by surprise. She will "get her due". There is no reason to look for sinister reasons why she was overlooked by the media in their projections as to who would be the next superstar. I am sure that there was no malicious intent, just inaccurate guesses. The joy of sports includes projecting the next generation of superstars. This is a positive thing. Don't try to make it a negative. Enjoy being a golf fan!
P.S. I think Sergio Garcia will win his first major in 2008. If, instead, an unknown from Korea breaks through, that doesn't mean I was giving that Korean player less than his due. I'm just having fun projecting the coming year.

Hi,Lorena.my name is antonio holguin.and i'm olso from mexico. Over two years ago,golf didn"t exist for me perhaps becouse we are over 100 years behind usa in golf that even make me more proud of lorena ochoa.about 2 years ago,i began to pay atencion in golf tournoments in tv since then; i was getting more into it every time more and more,i stared wandering my self that i can play good golf in tournoments.a year ago i played my first game ever 9 holes only my score was over 60 and my reaccion was ohoh is not as easy as it look on tv.I olso realize that golf is a lot of fun;so continue play oll year long at lease once a week today's day my score cards went better 80 in a 6,200 golf couse,i know i have a long shot but my plan is non stop and keep playinng and learning about this beautifull sport.
