Yes! Golf's Mollie putter reminds me of the sort of putter that skilled players prefer: heel-shafted, flanged blade, big price-tag. Even the grip is classically inspired: a semi-pistol style with a very flat, almost paddle-like top/front. If Mollie fits your stroke, she will perform admirably. In short, this is a classic, player's putter design, augmented with Yes! Golf's C-Grooves and new multi-material technological upgrades that produce high MOI and great feel.

Options do exist for thrifty golfers, including the option of adjusting your driver clubhead. From 1 degree open to 3 degrees closed, and from a 60-degree lie angle to a 57-degree lie angle, the Dynacraft Prophet ICT driver by Hireko Golf helps correct pulls, hooks, slices, and fades due to both heel and toe contact. And all of these options can be had for just $90, assembled. If you've been toying with the idea of trying an adjustable driver, this would be the place to start your search, Equipment Editor Kiel Christianson writes.

For some players, how a club looks is almost as important as it performs. In fact, they often go hand-in-hand. The VR Tour driver from Nike Golf exceeds on both counts. The VR Tour looks as good as any driver on the market, but it's got some more tricks up its sleeve that contribute to performance, Mike Bailey writes.

The Lite-Weight series is the best line of putters Heavy Putter has ever produced. They are true to the design concept of the original line, but are far more flexible and appealing to a wider variety of golfers. No longer is the Heavy Putter geared toward helping poorer putters get better. The new Lite-Weights are rock-solid putters that can help all golfers -- no matter their skill levels -- sink more putts.

These days, even so-called "Tour" irons are incorporating game-improvement features like progressive offset, vibration dampening, and cavity backs. And even some touring pros are playing clubs with these features - why not, if they can still work the ball? One of the newest, and perhaps the most innovative, of these flexible and player-friendly irons is the Cleveland CG7 Tour Black Pearl.

Never before in the history of golf has there been as much buzz for a new putter line as there was at the beginning of 2010 for Nike Golf's Method putters. But then again, never before has one prototype putter won two majors in the year prior to its general release. Such was the case with the Method, which was wielded by both Lucas Glover and Stewart Cink in their breakthrough 2009 major victories. So when our test model of the Method 001 arrived, we must admit that we were a bit buzzed about it, too.

There are dozens of nontraditional driver designs these days, all aimed at helping the chronic over-the-top slicer develop an inside-out swing plane. Some of these have clubfaces that are so radically closed that golfers often open their stances or their alignment so much that they negate the advantage provided by the club. Hireko Golf's Acer XDS Insider driver features an asymmetrical crown and clubhead that promote an inside-out visual path. The design helps you feel like you're just setting up normally, not compensating for the shape of the club.
