You disparage PC-Minded journalists in your article then go on to say that Serena Williams is a beautiful woman. I think you've jumped on the PC bandwagon.

Once again a journalist thinks his negative view is the general view. Hype is an American obsession many of your country men and women and the rest of the world enjoy and respect seeing someone at the top of there game any game. Your saving grace was that you would watch it. What makes you think the rest of us are not bright enough to make up our own minds and rely on what the media sees fit to hype to make up our minds. Young girls need as many role models as possible as do all women. Become a member of the media who has a positive perspective.

This is the second time that in reading your stories I have an overwhelming urge to get upset. Does your magazine only hire writers that are extremely negative, or does your magazine create them. Being positive instead of negative will promote golf much more. In the State of Louisia, several years ago, there were many slaughter house and meat packing inspectors, that seemed to simply want to put the small businessmen out of business through excessive rules and regulations. One such rule was that the inspector had to have his own bathroom and office when he visited the small packing plants. Now most of the small plants have been closed and guess what? Inspectors are not needed. Kill the game of golf and your writers will be writing about weddings and tea parties for the local newspaters. By the way, I'm removing my name from your website and hope others do the same causing YOU to be looking for a new field to bash. travis

The level of golf on the PGA Tour is comparable to single A minor league baseball. What Annika is doing is like somebody hitting over .400 in THAT league. However, in baseball that player would move up to a better league. What do you think the chances are of that happening?

Walters Golf June 8, 2005, 2:53 am

Hi,
By continuing to bring up Walters and his courses in every article, you are actually helping their cause. "Any publicity - is good publicity!
Give it a rest. I don't travel to Vegas, so I really don't care about his course or the condition it is in, or the fees they charge. You made your point, now let it go, or we'll start thinking Walters has you on his payroll...
