The Founders Inn

The 240-room, 26-acre Founders Inn and Spa is owned by Regent University and adjacent to its campus. Built in 1991 and renovated in 2010, it features Grand Georgian architecture and period furnishings throughout. Its goal is service and relaxation, offering concierge service, movie night Friday and is pet friendly. The full-service Flowering Almond Spa will cater to your relaxation needs while the two-story fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, volleyball and racquetball courts can get you going.

With all that activity, you might get hungry. The Founders Inn and Spa can take care of that, too, with three restaurants. The Swan Terrace Restaurant, which earned the Wine Enthusiast Restaurant of Distinction Award in 2007, features locally grown foods and fresh seafood and prime beef, lamb and pork.

The casual Hunt Room comes complete with a pool table and large televisions to catch the game or the grab-it-and-go, deli-style Muffin Pan. Children under 8 eat for free with a paying adult.
