Spacious and eminently comfortable Four Diamond lodging, four restaurants, including the exquisite Four Diamond rated Dining Room, and world-class amenities such as golf, tennis, Health & Fitness Center, and both Alpine and Nordic skiing encompass the Inn's offerings.

Golf Overview

In 1895, Dr. H.B. Harrington arrived with his clubs at the Woodstock Inn & Resort, eager to tee off at what would become Vermont's first golf course. Today, at more than 100 years of age, the Woodstock Country Club is one of the state's finest courses.

Redesigned in 1961 by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the Woodstock Country Club boasts a 6,000 yard, 18-hole, par 70 golf course with water at over a dozen holes to challenge even the most seasoned golfer.

Dining

The dining experience at the Woodstock Inn & Resort ranges from the formal elegance of the Dining Room, to the casual comfort of the Eagle Café, to the cozy confines of Richardson's Tavern. Each dish is prepared under the direction of our Executive Chef, Daniel Jackson, with an emphasis on fresh seasonal ingredients, particularly those that are native to Vermont.

The Dining Room

Serving dinner nightly, the Dining Room at the Woodstock Inn has established itself as one of the finest restaurants in New England. Rated Four Diamonds by AAA, the Dining Room is the showcase for the talents of our Executive Chef, Daniel Jackson, and his staff. The menu centers on innovative interpretations of classic American and New England cuisine. The ambiance is one of understated elegance, with candlelight, soft music and exquisite service. The Dining Room is also the setting for the Inn's extraordinary Sunday Brunch.

The Eagle Café

More casual is the Eagle Café, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily to families, shoppers and guests on the go. A varied menu includes delicious soups, salads and sandwiches, as well as tempting hot dishes prepared with the same attention as the entrées served in the Dining Room. A children's menu includes familiar classics such as hot dogs and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.

Richardson's Tavern

Savory bar food and rich paneling define the classic old-world atmosphere of Richardson's Tavern. Informal seating, a full bar and a smoke-free atmosphere create the perfect evening hideaway. If it's live music you're interested in, visit the Tavern on Friday and Saturday evenings to enjoy the sounds of Woodstock's local musicians.

Spa

The Health & Fitness Center, located near the Woodstock Country Club, features comprehensive fitness facilities - including exercise classes, a weight room, indoor pool, racquetball and squash courts, and 10 outdoor and 2 indoor tennis courts. All guests are invited to use the indoor pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool and exercise room free of charge. We also offer several massage techniques. Our Swedish Massage aids circulation and relieve muscular tension, our Deep Tissue Massage relieves muscular pain from over exertion or injury, and our Hot Stone Massage uses penetrating heat from special hot stones which allows the therapist to reach deep aches and pains.

Meetings

The Woodstock Inn & Resort offers eight separate meeting spaces, each with distinctive character, from the rich paneling of the Wilder Board Room, to the airy, light-filled Garden Terrace. We accommodate groups from 12 to 300 and offer a variety of outdoor locations.
