Golf Overview

While this area is blessed with natural beauty, some of Horseshoe Bay Resort's biggest attractions are man made. The three Robert Trent Jones Sr., designed golf courses at Horseshoe Bay Resort are more than just an opportunity to play a couple of rounds of golf during your vacation or conference, they present the opportunity to play the finest collection of golf courses designed by America's most prolific and possibly most influential designer of all time. When one considers that at one time Robert Trent Jones, Sr., had either designed or redesigned 26 of Golf Digest's "Top 100 Courses" (1985) and that his hand influenced the shape of ten former US Open courses, only then does one begin to understand the uniqueness and significance that Horseshoe Bay Resort embodies for no other place in the continental United States contains as many highly ranked Robert Trent Jones, Sr., masterpieces as Horseshoe Bay Resort.
