Resort Overview

The Resort at The Mountain is the premier Northwest golf & ski resort located in the Highlands of Oregon just an hour east of Portland at the western base of Mt. Hood. The Resort features 160 guest rooms, 18,000 Sq. feet of meeting space, two restaurants, 27 holes of awe-inspiring golf, two full-sized croquet courts and lawn bowling greens, four tennis courts, an outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, and easy access to some of the best skiing in the Northwest. Within minutes you can find activities such as wildlife viewing, hiking, mountain biking and fly fishing.

Golf Overview

Set amidst the natural splendor of mountains, streams and forests, The Resort at The Mountain's Three Nines golf course offers 27 of the most spectacular holes of golf in the Northwest year round. Located an hour east of Portland, Oregon, the three distinct nine-hole courses cater to the most accomplished player, as well as the well-intentioned amateur.

Foxglove/Pinecone Course at Resort at the Mountain

Description:
Opened in 1981, Foxglove is the most challenging of The Three Nines. Forest-lined fairways, some running adjacent to the wild and scenic Salmon River, "Scottish bunkers," and obstacles, including the infamous monolithic boulder on the first hole, push golfers to the limit. Foxglove measures 3,106 yards and plays to par 36.

Thistle/Foxglove Course at Resort at the Mountain

Description:
Originally constructed in the mid-1960's, Thistle has also undergone some very recent improvements. It is the shortest course, measuring 2,956 yards and playing to a par 34. It is perfect for the beginner or casual golfer, yet challenging enough for the most accomplished player.

Pinecone/Thistle Course at Resort at the Mountain

Description:
Originally built in 1928, Pine Cone is the 4th oldest course in Oregon and is the longest of The Three Nines. Playing to par 36, it measures 3,299 yards and features dog legs, water hazards and the most elevation changes of The Three Nines. Recent improvements have made this nine more scenic and enjoyable than ever before.

Tartans Pub & Steakhouse

The Resort at The Mountain's Tartans Pub & Steakhouse redefines the meaning of the word "guest," with highland scenery, fresh Northwest cuisine and rustic fireside lounging for a memorable Mt. Hood experience. In keeping with The Resort's Scottish ambiance, The Tartans Pub & Steakhouse exudes the hospitality that is an old custom in the best restaurants of Scotland.

The Highlands

The Highlands Restaurant presents a charming atmosphere of casual elegance, with soft lighting, tasteful decorations, oversized picture windows and a patio overlooking The Resort's forested courtyard and outdoor pool. The Highlands offers a delectable Sunday brunch year-round featuring an ever-changing selection of Northwest cuisine including seafood, fresh fruit, creative entrees, and delectable desserts.

Meetings

The Resort at The Mountain offers a variety of brightly lit, tastefully decorated and acoustically balanced meeting rooms with more than 18,000 square feet of event space. St. Andrews Hall, the main ballroom, seats up to 500. Other meeting areas can accommodate a variety of smaller groups in various configurations, including a beautiful outdoor tent for groups of up to 200 people.
