Golf Overview
Not one, but two world class 18 hole championship courses. Imagine playing two championship courses in one day then cap off the evening with a world class meal over looking Lake lure. Could you even dream-up a more perfect day?
Each course has its own practice facilities with driving ranges, putting and chipping greens. Both courses offer golf clinics and private lessons taught by a qualified PGA professional.

Apple Valley Golf Course
Architect: Dan MaplesDescription:
Apple Valley, designed by Dan Maples, features well-guarded greens and tight fairways. Golf Digest's "Places to Play" called Apple Valley "one of the most beautiful mountain courses around." Well-positioned bunkers and undulating terrain make this course a favorite for those who like to make tough shots. With 6756 yards of narrow fairways and sloping greens it's as challenging as it is beautiful.

Bald Moutain Golf Course

Bald Mountain, the original course, was built in 1968. Seen in the movie "Dirty Dancing", it was named for the rock-faced cliffs towering over the course. Bald Mountain offers a true challenge in a lovely setting. Popular with players of all abilities, its beautiful conditions received high marks from Golf Digest readers. It is 6283 yards of spectacular beauty you need to see to believe.

Located just inside the Lake Lure Golf and Beach Resort security gate, Lakeview offers an upscale casual dining experience with a fine dining atmosphere. The main dining room features a beautiful panoramic view overlooking pristine Lake Lure and majestic Bald Mountain.
The lounge, adjacent to the dining room, offers a nice bar, as well as patio seating to enjoy an adult beverage or light meal. Weekend entertainment features a DJ. Lakeview offers a premier dining experience and a superb freshly prepared menu with seasonal appetizers and entrée specials prepared by Executive Chef Cindy Dickey and her staff. These features make Lakeview the ideal spot to enjoy a memorable evening with family and friends.

Located in the same building as the Bald Mountain Golf Course Pro Shop, Legends offers a quick alternative to the sit down dining experience. The menu features freshly prepared deli sandwiches and counter service for those people who want to eat and run.
Azalea's
Located in the same building as the Apple Valley Golf Course Pro Shop, Azalea's features a family friendly atmosphere and menu. Azalea's offers a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, making it the perfect place to take the family and enjoy an appetizer, fresh salad, Black Angus burger, or wings.

Golf outings, business conferences, weddings, whatever your event, the expert resort staff will help you arrange every detail including tee times, accommodations, and functions. The resort has flexible meeting facilities and event locations for indoor and outdoor functions for groups up to 150 people.
