All area golf courses in the Mississippi "Golf Coast" were spared Tropical Storm Gustav's brutality and escaped with only heavy water and some clean up. All of the golf courses are not open for play and casino resorts have reopened their hotels and dining and entertainment venues. "Our thoughts go to our western neighbors, and we offer them our thoughts and support for a quick recovery," says Kevin Drum, MS Gulf Coast Golf Association executive director.
