Diamond Woods Golf Club is a scenic, hidden-gem golf course located just outside of Eugene in central Oregon. It's one of the area's better plays and, with peak-season weekends green fees at just $40, is also a great value. It's also very walker friendly.
The course is set on hilly countryside and offers a great deal of uphill and downhill holes, especially the par-5 13th hole, which heads straight downhill from the tee. Other holes, like the par-4 14th, head straight back uphill and play much longer than their yardage indicates.
Diamond Woods is totally natural with hardly any real estate, or anything else for that matter, besides farm land, making it a very casual and pleasant golf course. The course is 10 years old, designed by architect Greg Doyle.
