News ArticleDMC: Caddy aid allows golfers to see the course as never before

Golf course imaging specialist, DMC, has developed some highly innovative guidance aids for golfers, two of which won the British Invention Show a few weeks ago. Firstly, 'Fairway Flyover' allows any golf club to have low level movies of each hole on their website, by converting a still photograph into the Fairway Flyover image. Highly marketable collateral at a fraction of the expected cost.

Secondly, 'CaddyAid' allows the golfer see the course they are playing via the hand held computer. They are shown the Fairway Flyover movie and then a bird's eye view of the hole they are playing, with accurate distances calculated. However, this is not a GPS device, DMC's award winning software is far more precise than that as demanded by the Tour players and their caddies.

DMC are looking to develop brand distribution across the US through an exclusive licensee.
