Funky fairways: Save room on your UK golf vacation for the game's quirkiest links courses
Hosting a British Open doesn't mean a golf course is automatically among the top links in the British Isles. Most difficult from the tips, possibly. Most expensive, probably. Review: Vulcan's ultra-light Speedlite V14 driver

Arbutus Ridge Golf Club brings inexpensive, good golf and food to Vancouver Island
At Arbutus Ridge Golf Club, rounds begin with visions of recording your career best round and end with one of the most wicked finishing trios on any island not featured on "Lost." Despite those brutal final three holes, though, this is a course where it's really fun to hang around - whether to grab a meal before or after your tee time, get in some work on the range, or just shoot the breeze with the locals. If you're tired of stuffy resort courses, Arbutus Ridge could be your salvation.
