Great condition
This is the best conditioned course I've played on in OK. Very good layout, hard enough but fair. Excellent staff that treats you like a member. I'll be back for sure.
Awesome course at a fantastic price. Will play it as much as possible
Love love love this course. Has great character and is very well maintained
COME PLAY FOREST RIDGE
THE GOLF COURSE IS VERY CHALLENGING AND IN GREAT SHAPE.
IT IS WELL WORTH THE COST AND YOU WILL TELLING YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT FOREST RIDGE.
Best course in the area.
This is the best course in the Tulsa area I have played. Great condition, very challenging but fair. Sets of tees makes the course as long as you would like it.
Very Green
Everything is well manicured. Nice sandtraps. Best looking course ive played this summer. Green speed not too fast or slow. Course has been well watered this summer.
beautiful shape for the time of year.
Very challenging and a lot of fun to play. Not too difficult until you get on the back tees, a little pricey unfortunately.
Great course
Good value at the discounted price. Not sure it would be worth the rack rate.
Pristine and Fun Course
The course was in excellent shape, probably 9.5/10 with just a few minor dry patches of grass though none were in play. The course was not overly difficult but was challenging enough to make you rethink driver on every long hole. The pace of play was great, we never had to wait on the foursome in front of us and the threesome behind our foursome rarely had to wait on us. We played on a saturday and it was an 8am shotgun start, which I actually liked quite a bit although we didn't know it was a shotgun start until we arrived. GPS in the carts was extremely accurate and helpful and you can order food as you are going into the 9th hole right from the screen so it will be ready at the turn. Range is also in excellent shape. I would rank it one of the top, if not the top, public course in the Tulsa area.
Mixture of challenges
Course was in great condition for a public course! Will definately be back!
great course
always enjoy playing here. never any problems and the course is great
Beautiful course that rewards straight shots and requires good ball placement.
Forest Ridge was a very enjoyable experience. Golf carts have built in GPS on a touch screen that gives you distances, fly-overs of each hole and some other pretty cool stuff. Great course that was well-maintained, although maybe I expected even better maintenance for the amount of money you pay. I booked it for about 20 bucks, so for what I paid, I got a steal. Great, challenging and fun course. I'd play it again anytime I can find a good deal on a tee time, but I'm not sure I'd pay full price for a round (at least on my salary).
Really Enjoyed!
While visiting from Chicago, we had the chance to play three rounds. White Hawk, Emerald Greens and Forest Ridge. While the first two were just fine and themselves enjoyable, Forest was without a doubt the standout of the group. Great conditioning from tee to green. Immaculate greens and bunkers. Thoughtful layout with imaginative holes. I kept finding myself looking around and noticing the thought that went into the design. Country club setting. A lot of fun.
Normally they don't take reservations 8 days out, but I explained that I was visiting from out of state and they accommodated. Very nice. They fit us in at 7:20 am, not long before the Pub Links qualifier was to commence. Beverage cart was on course as was a number of water coolers.
The next time I'm in town, I'll definitely return. Only problem with the course, it's 585 miles from my house. ;-)
Great experience
Very challenging but not overly intimidating. Even after a substantial storm, the course was in great shape. Very well maintained with great facilities. Country club value for a public course price. Will definitely play Forest Ridge many more times in the future.
Good Condition
Course is in great shape. Bunkers are beautiful. Very challenging course though. Must find fairways on drives.
Better than a country club
Course conditions and staff attention were better than most country clubs.Very challenging course layout, yet fun to play.
The course was beautiful and in very pleasant playing condition.
The greens and fairways were nearly perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed playing the course. The scenery and homes surrounding the course were also very beautiful. There were some unexpected challenging holes, but we hadn't played there in 10 years or more, so we didn't know what to expect.
We hope to come back and play again soon!
Great Course
Grass is starting to "green up" nicely and should be in pristine condition in another couple of weeks!
I always enjoy playing Forest Ridge. Great course.
Look forward to playing it again. I love the challenge it brings.
Great staff and very people friendly.
I would love to play in the summer
I played this course on a very cold day in March. There were snow flakes falling for much of the time...
but I loved every second of this place. I would love to see what this course looks like in the summer. It was in great shape even in March. If ever in the Tulsa area, I will be sure to book a round or two at Forest Ridge. I see how it can be ranked as one of the top places you can play in Oklahoma.
Best Public Course in Green Country
The course is in excellent condition and is the best public course in NE Oklahoma (Green Country). While they have stopped overseeding in the winter, the course remains very playable on the dormant bermuda.
Would agree...the best public in the area. For those who think that their rate is high? Please consider where you are at; In my neck of the woods, a course like that would go for $90+.
