all was well except ........mowers and cart GPS
The course was excellent, the greens were also in good shape however the cart GPS froze up with several holes left and never came back on properly, but more importantly a guy on the fairway mower on hole 4 mowed continuously across the fairway even after looking up at me on the tee box several times. So I hit towards him. To top it off once I got out to my ball in the fairway he continued to mow within 20 yards of me and never idled his mower down or anything. I stood over my ball waiting for him to stop ....no luck, so I turned to him and threw up my hands in disbelief only to get a stare as he continued to mow right behind me. Very distracting and horrible golf ethics. I was very upset and disappointed with this matter .
Forest Ridge Rocks!
Forest Ridge is an excellent Semi-Private facility. Range, Practice Area, Fairways and Tees are in excellent condition. Received a GolfNow discount at almost 50% off.
Blue Tees are a fair test of golf.
The Best
Forest Ridge is the best "public" course I've ever played. I say "public" because they don't have a public feel to their course. Even though I'm not a member, They treat you as one. The course is always in perfect condition, even in the winter they maintain it well. I would recommend this course to anyone who is looking for a great round of golf. Just make sure you hit it straight or bring a couple extra balls.
Great layout. Great course.
Excellent course; It requires a lot of shot shaping, and shot making ability. I struggled a bit on the greens, but I had a great time.
Championship quality
This was my first time at Forest Ridge, and I find it to be the nicest public golf course I have played on in Tulsa. Greens and fairways are plush and fast, and perfectly manicured.
Nice course but staff OK
We set the tee time for 2:50pm and was called to come early at 1:00pm. We did not get to tee off until around 1:30pm and had to tee off with others as a shotgun start on #10. We did not get to finish our round because the course wanted to close early. We only got 14 holes in. It was a great course but staff rushed us to leave and was not a pleasant experience for for my Son's first visit to the course. He liked the course but wanted to experience the whole course and not just part of it.
best in tulsa
play there often and I find it best value and best public course in Tulsa. It is a 40 min drive for me, but worth the effort. Weakness is a large number of corporate events that tend to clog up the course.
first impression
Besides the elder guy driving the cart, who was the first person I laid eyes on , I didn't count it toward the whole staff, but he could make the staff look bad. Overall the course was Immaculate, and everyone else was a breath of fresh air. Nice layout, Ideal place to bring visitors to play.
Nicest publis course in the area!
Tremendous value for the money. The course is very challenging and in excellent condition
Great challenge
Great pace of play and very good layout. I was surprised how fast we were able to play. The course is in good condition.
GO PLAY
REALLY FUN COURSE TO PLAY. KEEP IT IN THE FAIRWAY. DRIVE IT STRAIGHT.
Tod Gordon
Spring Break golf trip and this is an outstanding course. Joined two local members and they were very helpful in making our experience at Forest Ridge one to remember.
Great as always
Every part of the course was great. Fairways, tees, greens, and rough were all in great shape. Bunkers were pga quality. Can't find anything bad to say about the place.
amazing layout!
I loved how Forest ridge played. I would join one of the many membership options they have to offer if i lived closer. Definitely one of the nicer public courses in the state.
Best public course in the city if not he state.
Great pulic course at a private course atmosphere. My favorite place to play. Really great deal on golf now.
Excellent course, strongly recommend
This is the second time I played this course and will definitely play again on my next trip to Tulsa. We played in the afternoon after a night and morning of heavy rain, but the course drained extremely well and we had no problems with standing water. It was cart paths only, which I expected, but by the time we got to the back nine, the course was dry enough that 90 degree rule would have been OK.
Fairways, greens, and tee boxes were all in excellent shape. We got an excellent deal on GolfNow for $35, but this course is easily worth twice that amount.
Great condition
This is the best conditioned course I've played on in OK. Very good layout, hard enough but fair. Excellent staff that treats you like a member. I'll be back for sure.
