The Hills are alibe
I returned to play Hudson hills as president of the Stuyvesant Golf Club of NYC. The course was in great shape and played as advertised , accuracy and putting are key to a good scoring round.

Great views but slow play!
Lovely course, but stopped after 4hrs 15mins as still had 4 holes to play so 5hr+ round which took shine off what was otherwise a great day in a stunning setting.
Nobody helping move people on or accelerating play.

Tough front 9. No driving range
The front 9 are all tough holes with blind tee shots through narrow openings. The 2nd hole is ridiculous. The 8th extremely narrow.
Back 9 opens up a bit but still challenging.
This place has no driving range but it sorely needs one.

Great track...great views...
First time playing the course. They had just aerated so the price was great but naturally the greens were bumpy . Beautiful views and very challenging holes. The cart GPS warned of blind shots but that did little to clue you in as to where to aim. The maps kind of helped but not all that much. Elevation changes galore added to the mystery of which club to hit, We had a wonderful afternoon and the staff could not have been nicer. Highly recommended.

Love this course
The only imperfections were the greens, as they had just been punched. However, I was warned and the round was discounted. Obviously, there were some burned out areas because of the lack of rain lately. But honestly, it’s still one of the funnest courses around. I love the views here! We’ll be back soon.

Not good condition today
Last time I played a few weeks ago, it was nice. However today, they filled the green with sand like another bunker. Tee box is so hard to insert the tee in. Fairways are also hard as rock. Not good condition today.

Bring lots of balls
For all intents and purposes, this is my home course. I play it 12-15x a season. I’m a big fan of this course but it is not for beginners or those who spray their balls. It’s very easy to lose balls even if you think you know where it went. The rough is challenging but there’s a lot of course knowledge required to shoot a good score. Best to play with someone who has played here before. The greens are challenging and the course has a really good layout. Enjoy!

The course had a lot of divets and blind spots
I wasn’t able to finish the 18 holes since it was extremely hot in Ossining that day. Had to stop at 9. Would love to go back and challenge myself on the remaining 9 holes. Wondering if I can get a rain check for 9 holes. Please advise as soon as possible. Appreciative :)
