Good but slow
Slow as one of the guys in the group ahead of us was walking and very slow. 2 riders and one walker in the group. Some holes are LONG in between and it took him a long time to get there Areateing and verticuting the day we were there and days before which made the rough very hard to hit out of. They should let you know they are doing that!
Challenging course fun to play
Course was in pretty good shape--per usual public golfers in many places seem unable/unwilling to take time to repair ball marks leaving greens in poorer condition. Pace of play a little slow as no marshall on course to regulate it and slower groups holding people up. Back tees were at VERY back making this a long and challenging outing.
This course has great features.
This has been a good course to play. It is pretty open but it has a lot of water features and the course zig zags all over the place. It is a nice place to play for the price. We had a lot of fun.
Challenging course for 20+ handicappers
Played as a twosome and happened to be paired with two locals who knew the course fairly well. There had been some two inches of rain within the last 48 hours, but the weather was probably the best golf weather I have ever played. Fans had done a great job on the greens, and the traps were probably 15% unplayable. Obviously the crews had been really busy for the previous days. Two holes required shots over water requiring a carry of close to 175 yards to stay dry. On each hole, 50% of our foursome had the "opportunity" to check out the drop area. Those two holes aside, one of the best courses I have played, with variety and imagination in design being evident. Would definitely play again.
this course has ok features
Decent challenge for open style course. Both long and short holes equally challenging. Great water shots that will test your skills. Course was very wet after heavy rains so that diminished some better elements of the greens. Greens could have been better.
Feel like I am an hobbit on this one
The course is 7.5 miles long if you want to walk. 6800+ yards from the blues, but it is the walk between the holes that hurts for the economic golfer and those who like walking.
Greens weren't at their best last week, i.e. the first week of Sep 13. They were a bit patchy but fast. All in all I've always had an good time on this one.
Challenging course!
This course plays long and has several challenging holes with water hazards. The course is in good condition and well maintained.
Course was in fair condition. It was wet out..
Overall was good. Course was soggy. Play was fair. Bad players should let better holders through.
course was in great condition.
Really enjoyed my time here. Its a fun challenging course with longpar 3s and a 624yrd par 5.
Very playable course
The course is challenging enough, but open enough to keep play going at a reasonable pace. Has some very interesting holes, and an overall great course.
Great Overall Experiance!
Never know what to expect going to a new course BUT this course was Fantastic, very clean, well maintained, friendly staff, clear distinction between fairways and roughs just a really nice course and a great value for the money, highly recommend, I will definitely play this course again soon.
Amazing Greens
This course is in the best shape that it has been all year. The greens are just amazing. They are pretty fast and they roll true. The tee boxes are also in good shape. The pace of play was very good for a Saturday. We finished in 4 hours.
See below
The course was in reasobale shape for going into the winter months. However, the Golf cart path was horrible. I have played in 17 states and out of the country. Hertiage's needs to spend the money to fix their pathways by not repairing them but by replacing them. They are the worst which is sad for the course is above average. i would recommend to walk and not ride.
Great condition
This course is in great shape for the middle of November. I imagine it was incredible in August/September. Definitely worth checking out.
Course was a nice place to play with my dad who doesn't play much
Course was in pretty good shape for the summer we had. Greens were in good shape. Course is open enough that you don't get in lots of trouble. Discounted rate made it an excellent play. Pace of play was good.
Nice course for the money
Course was in good shape, considering how bad the drought was. I've played there about 5 times, always enjoy it.
the greens are slow
It was a very busy day so slow game- some greens are burned out the rest of the golf course is in good shape-
Enjoyable round. Good value.
Course is well maintained and provides challenges throughout. Great staff, ready to assist at any time. Overall it was a very good experience.
This is a nice course in the Olathe Area.
Some of the greens could use a little attention. The biggest thing that needs to be different is the rate of play. There is a lot of terrible golfers out there that act like they are on espn playing with Tiger Woods. Go up, take your time and hit your ball, but dont act like the Fed Ex Cup is on the line please.
Well maintained course.
This course is well maintained. They have good discounts when they're working on the course. Usually in the fall and early spring.
