Course was in good shape. There was a lot of fairways with standing water creating a mud pit. Greens were in decent shape.
One of my FAVORITE Courses
A must go and play at this course! My dad and I have a great time together today.
Jason Brooks & Wayne Brooks
Back yard golfing
Loosing your ball in the fairway was easy. All kinds of grass are included. The entire course was overgrown and did not look like it had been mown in a while. Course allows groups of five and 6. Round took forever! Friendly staff.
Good value.
Great course. Pace of play was great, beautiful scenery. The rough was a little too rough as our group lost balls due to grass height. Overall a good value.
30years
I hAVE BEEN PLAYING THIS COURSE FOR APPR 30 YEARS .IT NEVER FAILS TO SATISFY. SOME OF THE CART PATHS NEED WORK BUT THAT IS WHAT YOU GET UNLESS YOU DONT WANT A FEW TREES. OVERALL A GREAT COURSE FOR THE AVERAGE GOLFER.
Could be a GREAT COURSE
Fairway were great as long as you stayed in. The second cut you needed CSI to find your ball. Could be I need to stay in the fairway (LOL). The greens has one problem and always has been PEOPLE FIX YOUR DIVITS PLEASE
I will play this course again
Once a year is enough
My husband and I haven't played this course in over a year because last year the fairways were in horrible condition, full of tall weeds. This year was a little better but not much, we won't be back this year. Also we had to play with a solo golfer who was a nice person and all but slowed our pace down which on an extremely hot day is unbearable.
Tall grass
The greens and fairways were in better shape than the last time I played. Hard to find your ball if you miss the fairways. Overall good day.
Budget Course
Played this course for the first time in about a year. That quality of the greens was better than average. But the fairways and first cut rough was overrun with clover, making finding our golf balls a challenge on a majority of the holes, even for balls in the fairway. Overall, the course conditions were poor enough to make my group think again before playing here. But with that being said, not a bad deal for 18 holes.
Enjoyed our round!
Course in great shape particularly the greens. Tip: Pay attention to your ball's landing. Tall clover with white blooms makes it difficult to locate errand shots in certain spots. Overall my son and I enjoyed our round! Great value for the money.
Decent course, if you have the right expectations
Mossy Creek is a great little course, if you take it for what it is. It's a course that was fit into a space that probably wasn't supposed to be a golf course. It's a budget friendly place, so the greens and fairways can leave a little to be desired, at times. My two complaints from the round were the patches of clover in the fairways. I shouldn't lose a ball that is in the fairway, but I did...twice. Also, some of the greens were in pretty bad shape. Not smooth at all, which impacted a significant number of putts, which can be very frustrating. Overall though, for what we paid, it was worthwhile, and I will be back again.
