About
The Riviera Cancun Golf Club is the most recent addition to Cancun. Jack Nicklaus has done remarkable job carving this gem using the natural contours of the terrain, this course boasts strategic bunkering, immaculate greens, wooden bridges and the peaceful tranquility of the natural reserve that surrounds the course. Golfers will also enjoy the ocean views on holes 14 and 15.
The spectacular Mexican-Contemporary Club house greets guests before they begin their journey over bridges, through the dunes, mangroves and lakes which are only some of the elements which make this course visually stunning. The resort is 100% Mexican owned and is located in the Hotel Zone and only 5 minutes from the airport.

Un grand merci à Adan et son équipe pour l’accueil et le professionnalisme.
Belle qualité de service - boissons et snacking à volonté tout au long du parcours. Practice très bien entretenu aussi.

Lots of potential
Long, challenging and fun. Some improvements include rangeballs quality, cartpath repairs, and communication on course conditions ( three holes were out of commission). Great staff and the grill was excellent. The best value found in a month of golfing. Ole Jack had a great vision for this course. The largest clubhouse I’ve ever seen!
Keep the ball in the fairway or you’ll never find it in the mangroves!!

Great layout. Only real negative are the bunkers have a lot of rocks.

Tough but fair
Had a great time among the iguanas and alligators. Course well designed. Greens were very firm and undulating. Lightning fast. Fairways were excellent. The service was plentiful and top notch. All food and drinks are included in the green fees. My only lament was not bringing my own clubs. For a course this tough you need every advantage. Would definitely play here again.
Great course
Tight fairways and a lot of undulating greens. You need to bring A game or a lot of golf balls. Lots of wildlife.

The course was in rely great condition. Fairway and greens was really up to par. Few bunkers is rocky buy over all wonderful course. Just to pack

You'll want to return to this course
Riviera Cancun has an excellent friendly staff that will make you feel right at home. Greens gave me the best putting I have ever had. Hit drives straight to well kept fairways, or bring extra balls, mangroves are thick. This all inclusive day kept us hydrated and the burger was great.
Good, but expected more
Fun, tight layout but was disappointed there was only 1 hole with a very small ocean view. And the greens seemed to have been punched recently so were very bumpy and sandy.
Staff was very nice and I loved the all inclusive feature, including alcohol.
It was also fun seeing a cioti (racoon-looking monkey), tons of iguanas and a few small alligators.
Awesome golf course
This is a great golf course in great condition. It always plays a little soft due to the surrounding conditions. Nice driving range, but the range balls are awful. Just a recommendation - play up one tee because the ball does not run out off the tee. Lots of wildlife and a beautiful layout. Very friendly staff, but the food is limited due to Covid. The starter, Adam was very helpful.
