GOLFING IN THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS

Western Alberta and the Eastern Areas of British Columbia offer some of the most incredible and scenic golf courses in the world. Set below the shadows of the Majestic Canadian Rockies are home to courses such as Kananaskis, Banff Springs, Jasper, Radium and Fairmont Hot Springs.

Our golf adventure begins 45 minutes west of Calgary, Alberta in the recreation wilderness known as Kananaskis Country. Carved from the Kananaskis River Valley this spectacular course was voted by Golf Digest Magazine as being one of the top 25 public courses in North America and judged as the Best Super Value 36 hole golf course in North America and the Carribean.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in the early eighties the two 18 hole courses known as Mt. Lorette and Mt. Kidd named after the jagged peaks that tower above the finely sculptured greens and expansive fairways. Both courses feature multiple tee locations, playing from 5600 to 7200 yards. A true test of golf for players of all levels.

The services and facilities at Kamanaskis are world class in every aspect. From the complimentary valet parking at the clubhouse, locker rooms with showers, shoeshine and towel service to the dining room and lounge featuring outdoor terraces where you can enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery.

Travel 35 minutes west to Banff National Park, world famous for its natural beauty, breathtaking mountain scenery and abundance of wildlife.

One mile above sea level, high in the Canadian Rocky Mountains experience 6729 yards of scenic thrills and challenging golf. These are the original 18 holes of the 27 hole Banff Springs Golf Club designed by one of the world's foremost golf architects, the late Stanley Thompson.
The course is located next to the 815 room Banff Springs Hotel where nature here is at her best, remember though, elk, deer, and bighorn sheep have the right of way.
