Resort Overview
Whether you're planning a family vacation, romantic retreat or a weekend with friends, you'll find the Grand Geneva Resort's accommodations to be spacious and comfortable. We offer an extraordinary selection of 355 rooms, including 41 suites, all of which have been designed to meet the expectations of today's sophisticated traveler. Golf Overview
The Brute, designed by Robert Bruce Harris, is a magnificent Par 72 course set amidst the resort's 1,300 rolling acres. Playing at over 7,000 yards, it's one of the most challenging courses in the Midwest, featuring 68 bunkers and massive greens that average 8,000 square feet. The views are spectacular. The Highlands, originally designed by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus, was redesigned and renovated by Bob Cupp in 1995. This Par 71, 6,633-yard course offers a distinctively different style of play. It is a true Scottish-style course nestled in the rugged, natural landscape of the Wisconsin countryside. It boasts smaller greens, strategically placed sand traps and mogulled fairways. Golf Courses
The Brute
Architect: Robert Bruce HarrisDescription:
The Brute is unique in that it is 30% larger than most golf courses. It is 7,258 yards long, has some of the largest greens (more than 8,000 square feet) in the world, and has fairways that are twice the average width. Even more incredible are the radical changes in elevation; every tee is elevated for a spectacular view of the breathtaking southeastern Wisconsin landscape.
Awarded the Silver Medal by Golf Magazine and rated one of the Top Ten courses in the Midwest by PAR Excellence, the Brute is also one of the most challenging. In fact, Golf Magazine describes it as "a behemoth that ranks among the toughest layouts in the Midwest."

Description:
Grand Geneva Resort spent millions to transform the former Briar Patch golf course into a world-class golf retreat. Renamed The Highlands, this course features new greens, new tees, friendlier fairways and a state-of-the art irrigation system. Set amidst the breathtaking beauty of a rolling, naturally grassed terrain, the par-71 Highlands has a slope rating of approximately 130 and offers a degree of resistance from the back tees. Tough birdies will test even the most avid golfer, while the easy bogies will entice the occasional player.
