Resort Overview

When you visit Wintergreen, you will notice that we strive to capture the essence of the mountain resort in everything, a certain understated, casual elegance. The restaurants and lodging facilities are designed to respect the natural environment and to celebrate the unique mountain heritage of our surroundings. Many find this environment inspirational and rejuvenating, we hope you will join us and experience it for yourself.

Golf Overview

Wintergreen offers two exceptional and distinctly different golf experiences. During the spring, summer and fall, you can play Devils Knob, the highest course in Virginia at almost 4,000 feet and known for cool summer temperatures and outstanding course conditions, or golf year-round in the valley on the nationally-ranked Stoney Creek course. Find out why Conde Nast Traveler magazine selected Wintergreen as one of the "Top 50 Golf resorts in the world".

Dining

Ranging from sports-casual to elegant-casual, Wintergreen provides a variety of dining options, all with either mountain or slopeside views. The six restaurants offer everything from a quick energizing snack to gourmet cuisine. Attire is casual at all our restaurants.

The Copper Mine Restaurant and Lounge

Casual, yet elegant dining adjacent to the Blue Ridge Terrace on the Mountain. For an elegant and leisurely gourmet dinner, sample our Copper Mine specialties. Steak au poivre—tender filet mignon served with a brandied peppercorn cream sauce—roast rack of lamb with a rosemary and garlic rub, and our twin lobster tails are just a few of the choices. Vegetarian options are available as well.

Devils Grill Restaurant and Lounge

Our clubhouse restaurant located at the Devils Knob Golf Course features a spectacular mountaintop view with an elegant, club-like atmosphere. The Devils Grill menus feature a wide array of popular and memorable items, ranging from freshly prepared seafood to hand cut steaks as well as several innovative vegetarian dishes, all done with a contemporary flare.

The Edge Restaurant

Casual dining overlooking the mountains and slopes. With its large screen television and live entertainment, our most casual restaurant is perfect for both family and group dining. Serving lunch and dinner, the Edge offers such specialties as spicy buffalo wings, Virginia barbecue, crispy chicken salad, and a variety of tempting pasta dishes.

Stoney Creek Bar & Grill

A clubhouse restaurant located on the Stoney Creek Golf Course. The Stoney Creek Bar & Grill offers light fare in the lounge or full entrees in the dining room.

Spa

This well-equipped exercise facility at the Wintergreen Resort is home to an aerobics studio, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, steam rooms, and saunas. In addition to a rich menu of spa treatments, we offer massage and skin-care therapy, as well as numerous salon services.
