Just an easy 45-minute drive north of Austin, nestled in the tree-covered central Texas hill country is the quaint village of Salado—a town that boasts 18 buildings on the National Registry of Historic Places. A century ago visitors found Salado to drink of the cool, spring-fed waters, today they come to shop for antiques, visit the galleries, fish the streams and challenge 27 holes of Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed golf at the Mill Creek Inn.

From the moment you step on the first tee and take in the view of the tree-lined fairway some 40 feet below, you'll know you are in for fun, and a challenge. All three 9-hole courses at Mill Creek Inn and Golf Club, deemed Creek #1, Creek #2 and Creek #3, offer stimulating golf in comely settings.
