Welcome to Cliff Park Inn and Golf Course, situated on 500 acres along the stone cliffs overlooking the dramatic Delaware River Valley.

Scotland is the birthplace of golf. Scotland is also the homeland of the Buchanan family. At the turn of the twentieth century, Annie Buchanan, the first innkeeper of Cliff Park, invited a family friend from Scotland to summer in Milford. He was a golf course architect and he designed the Cliff Park Golf Course in the Scottish style. Scottish golf course designers try to move as little earth as possible in laying out a golf course, taking full advantage of the natural lie of the land. The Cliff Park Golf Course was opened in 1913, one of the first dozen golf courses opened in America. It was the first golf course in America started by a woman.

In season, the Inn serves three full meals. Beginning with a hearty and diverse breakfast, including such favorites at the Cliff Park's trademark cinnamon French toast and mouthwatering, home baked scones.

At dinner time, savor a gourmet meal, featuring international cuisine from the traditional to the exotic, in our charming Colonial dining room, complete with wood burning fireplace and antique tables dressed in old-fashioned lace.

We are proud to offer an extensive selection of premium wines and spirits, as well as made-from-scratch baked goods. We are also happy to accommodate your special dietary needs.

Cliff Park Inn has long been a traditional meeting site for America's most discriminating executives. Private meeting rooms are available for up to 40 people, with audio/visual equipment and private suites for breakout sessions.
