Resort Overview
Among the hibiscus and oleander, on the shores of a picturesque natural harbor, The Fairmont Hamilton Princess, Bermuda's only luxury urban resort, is an elegant tribute to the old world splendor that is Bermuda. Take a dip in your choice of fresh or saltwater pool, catch the complimentary ferry over to The Fairmont Southampton. Frolic with the dolphins at dockyard, or take a carriage ride into town. Inspired by Princess Louise, the daughter of Queen Victoria, The Fairmont Hamilton Princess is a symbol of all that Bermudians hold dear, old fashioned courtesy, timeless quality and genuine hospitality.
Golf Overview
Bermuda is a golfer's paradise with more golf courses per square mile than any other country in the world. Lush Bermuda grass fairways, seaside rough, turquoise waters, colorful flowering trees, quaint white roofed cottages and vistas that will take your breath away. Golf in Bermuda is a year round pleasure. So when the courses elsewhere are hidden by snow, Bermuda's winter climate makes our greens the greenest and our fairways the fairest.
Golf Courses
The Fairmont Southampton Golf Course
Architect: Ted RobinsonDescription:
An island gem designed to take your short game to new heights, The Fairmont Southampton Golf Course features 18 challenging par three holes. Taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings and dramatic elevation changes, this 2,684-yard course forces prudent club selection, with wind a definite factor. Whether tournament play or just a friendly game takes you out on the course, you'll be delighted with the myriad of bunkers, two water hazards and three tee offerings.
18 hole par 54 2684 yardsMid Ocean Golf Club
Architects: Charles MacDonald &Robert Trent Jones Sr.
Description:
Once you experience Mid Ocean, you'll have no argument with experts who rank it among the top links of the world. Cathedral-like in its awesome beauty, Mid Ocean administers the classic test: good shots are rewarded; bad shots are penalized. True to form Mid Ocean's 6,547 yards heighten the long game - six par 4s exceed 400 yards; there's even a 238 yard par-3. Nonetheless, a card full of double and triple bogeys pales in comparison to the superb views of the mighty Atlantic. But win or lose, the lasting thrill is to say: ''I played Mid Ocean''.

Riddells Bay Golf & Country Club
Description:The elder statesman of Bermuda country clubs, Riddells Bay has enticed golfers the world over since 1922. And no wonder. Winding along a peninsula measuring only 600 yards at its widest, these lovely links provide a magnificent challenge to one's golf game and camera. The course measures relatively short 5,588 yards. With its tight fairways and small narrow greens, accuracy is the name of the game. Additional pleasure (or perhaps vexation, depending on your performance) is gained by the proximity of some holes to the ocean.

St. George's Golf Club
Architect: Robert Trent Jones Jr.Description:
This, the newest of Bermuda's Government golf courses, was designed by Robert Trent Jones and is a par-62, 4,043-yard course. Located at the eastern tip of the island within walking distance of the old Town of St. George, the links range along hillsides with imposing views of the Atlantic. Wind velocity will be an important factor in your game. On a couple of the par-3s, for instance, you could need anything from a nine-iron to a driver to reach the green. To conquer this course you'll need concentration, proper club selection, and very careful shot execution.
18 hole par 62 4043 yardsOcean View Golf Course
Description:Located in the verdant center of the Island in Devonshire Parish, Ocean View is owned and maintained by the Government of Bermuda. On this fully matured 9-hole course, one enjoys splendid vistas of the Atlantic from several of the elevated tees. At 2,940 yards, it may seem tame enough, but guess again. Its unpredictable terrain and rambling hills remain, as you will soon discover, doggedly resistant to low scoring.
