The luxury, country club setting on more than 340 lush tropical acres features three picture-perfect beaches, 18-hole golf course and pro shop, 8 tennis courts (two lit for night play) and pro shop, a health spa and fitness center, watersports center, two swimming pools and four restaurants.

Designed in 1973 by Long Island PGA professional Bob Joyce, the 5,685 yard Buccaneer Golf Course is a challenging par-70 hill course, which requires every club in a golfer's bag. The Buccaneer offers 18 scenic holes of golf on a beautiful tropical course surrounding the resort on the shores of Beauregard Bay. The shimmering blue waters of the Caribbean Sea can be seen from thirteen holes.

The challenging par-3 third hole is a particular favorite of camera buffs, offering spectacular vistas of Christiansted and beyond to the west, Green Cay and Buck Island to the east and on a clear day, St. Thomas, St. John and the British Virgin Islands to the north.

Breakfast is as light as a fruit plate or substantial as banana pancakes. Either way, the sea view is eye opening. Lunch casually at the beach or pool on savory sandwiches, soups and salads.
