One&Only Ocean Club

Resort Overview

White-sand beaches, sprawling ocean vistas and pure tropical peace and relaxation are some of the main reasons that world travelers have been escaping to the Bahamas' One&Only Ocean Club for nearly 50 years. Upon its opening in 1962 on Nassau, Paradise Island, the world's elite flocked to the Ocean Club, including William Randolph Hearst, Zsa Zsa Gabor and international dukes, ambassadors and politicians. Today, no service is spared at the colonial plantation-style resort, which features 105 rooms, villas and suites, upscale island decor, high-speed Internet and satellite television.

The resort's golf course, the Tom Weiskopf-designed Ocean Club Golf Course, treats players to peninsula panoramas over the 7,100-yard layout. Ocean Club resort is also home to a state-of-the-art fitness center, six tennis courts, One&Only Spa -- arguably the most luxurious spa in the Caribbean -- and a host of water sports at both the Ocean Club and sister property Atlantis resort. An idyllic day of activities -- or none at all -- is best capped with a meal by Chef Jean-George Vongerichten at Dune, or another one of the Ocean Club's four dining and libation options. Atlantis offers another 21 restaurants at its facility.
