Resort Overview

Pristine beauty and genuine Alberta hospitality are waiting for you at the Kananaskis Resort & Conference Centre. Located in Alberta's Kananaskis Country, a four-season, multi-use recreation area just 90 kilometres west of Calgary, the Kananaskis Resort & Conference Centre provides its guests with spectacular views, delicious western cuisine and more than enough opportunities to use a camera. Our recently renovated resort features 90 spacious guest rooms, exquisite cuisine in the Wildflower Restaurant and casual good times in Woody's Pub and Patio.

Golf Overview

The 36-hole Kananaskis Country Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, challenges all levels of golfers. The clear waters of the Kananaskis River run through the Mt. Kidd and Mt. Lorette courses, providing its visitors with a spectacular setting. The Kananaskis Country Golf Course is the only public golf course in Canada to receive a four-and-a-half star rating by Golf Digest Magazine.

In the heart of the Canadian Rockies, less than an hour's drive from either Calgary or Banff, visitors find a golfing paradise. The rugged surrounding peaks tower a full 9,600 feet above sea level, the courses themselves are at almost 5,000 feet, forming an unforgettable background, the cascading Kananaskis River a constant and pleasant companion.

Named for the soaring peaks that serve as their most inspiring landmarks, the Mount Lorette and Mount Kidd courses share more than 600 acres of lush fairways, bent grass greens, 142 strategically-placed bunkers, forest, rivers, streams and ponds.
