Resort Overview
The 333-room Crowne Plaza-Los Cabos Beach Resort offers a tropical atmosphere with contemporary Mexican décor throughout the guestrooms and lobby. The $40 million property boasts five sparkling pools, two lighted tennis courts, a racquetball court, outdoor Jacuzzi, basketball court and beach volleyball. Bicycles are free of charge to guests The hotel has five dining facilities. The restaurant’s upscale dining menu at Las Jicamas offers authentic Mexican cuisine, while regional Italian cuisine is served for dinner at La Gondola. Guests can also enjoy casual beachfront dining at Las Olas for breakfast and lunch as well as international buffets at Albatross. La Isla Snack Bar is located poolside on the property, serving snacks and light lunch. Cielito Lindo Sky Bar overlooks a spectacular view of the Sea of Cortez, the Estuary and San Jose del Cabo.

Golf Courses
San Jose Municipal Golf Course
Description:The San Jose Municipal Golf Course maintains competitive and affordable prices. The nine-hole 2,900 yard course was built by the Mexican government's FONATUR development agency, which to this day maintains it beautifully. Designed for intermediate and beginning golfers, this is a great course for the entire family to play in a pleasant atmosphere including an abundance of multi-hued bougainvilleas.
From the first tee, you are greeted by a panoramic view of the Sea of Cortez and the cape that comprises San José del Cabo. This par four hole slopes downward, with a wide fairway that dog-legs left. It's easy to break windows on this course, what with many condominium resorts surrounding the course.
The 7th hole offers a wonderful view with the ocean on your left and mountains facing you as you approach the green. There's a large lake at the bottom and to the left of the green and a lateral sand trap at the back of the green challenging over-achievers. The ninth is a good finishing hole with a wide sloping fairway with sand traps to the top, right and bottom of the green.
This is a very popular course, so chose your tee times carefully. Everything is scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations. Check for the golf pro's hours. This is a wonderful community centre for locals, and an added attraction for sports-minded visitors.

Cabo Real Golf Course

Scene of the 1996 and 1999 PGA Senior Slam Tournament, this Robert Trent Jones II 18-hole course was designed so that every hole features views of the sea. This is a challenging course with rolling fairways and greens, well-placed traps, arroyos, and narrow terrain. The layout provides a challenge for low handicap golfers, but is also fun for beginners. Practice facilities, golf instruction and equipment rental available.

El Dorado Golf Club

Eldorado is an ocean-front Championship course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Set primarily in the picturesque arroyo near the Westin Regina Hotel in the Cabo Real development, the course extends on both sides of the Tran peninsular Highway. This 18-hole course features five holes adjacent to the ocean and four lakes. With some of the most difficult terrain in Los Cabos, even good golfers will have to work for a good score. Practice facilities, golf instruction and equipment rental available, clubhouse and restaurant with spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez.
