Resort Overview

Eagle Crest is a full-service destination resort located just outside the city of Redmond on 1700 acres in the high desert of Central Oregon. Nestled against the majestic Cascade Mountains near Bend, Oregon, Eagle Crest boasts over 300 days of sunshine each year with an annual rainfall of less than nine inches.

Golf Overview

If you’re looking for challenge and variety in the total golf package, come to Eagle Crest Resort®! The Ridge Course and the Resort Course, our two championship courses, are complimented by our tough new 18 hole, par 63 Mid-Iron Course and our ever-popular 18 hole live-turf Putting Course.

All of Eagle Crest’s courses are carved out of an ancient juniper forest nestled at the foot of the majestic Cascades and are known for their meticulous grounds-keeping, fast, true greens, and beautiful summer wildflower displays. Due to our lower elevation, we have the longest quality golf season in Central Oregon and are able to keep one of our championship courses open year-round. Ski in the morning and golf in the afternoon!

The friendly, professional golf staff at Eagle Crest Resort® is dedicated to making you a better golfer. Whether you’re a beginner, an experienced golfer, or you’re just looking for a few pointers to improve your swing, we can help. Our golf professionals are available throughout the season for individual and group lessons, as well as informative weekly clinics and classes.

Each of our courses offers a different golf experience – from a tour-caliber championship round to an entertaining loop on the putting course with the kids. The great selection of courses along with almost 300 days of sunshine per year makes for a most memorable golf experience. Affordable golf/lodging packages are available throughout the year; we can tailor one to fit your needs. For a great high desert golf experience, look no further than Eagle Crest Resort.

Golf Courses

The Ridge Course

Architect:  John Thronson
Description:
Designed by in-house course architect John Thronson, the Ridge Course offers a golf experience that is as challenging as it is beautiful, yet always playable for golfers of all abilities. It has been said of John’s courses that no matter what kind of golfer you are, you always play well enough to enjoy yourself, but leave wanting to play it again because you know you can do even better.

The Resort Course

Architect:  Bunny Mason
Description:
The original Resort Course features all of the elements that have made Eagle Crest and Central Oregon a golf mecca. We are blessed with almost 300 days of sunshine per year and nearly year-round golf. The Resort Course is perched on the rim of the Deschutes River canyon under the snowcapped peaks of Oregon’s Cascade mountain range, making full use of all the high desert has to offer.

This Bunny Mason designed course plays shorter than the Ridge course. The signature hole here is #2 which is a dog leg right Par 5 where you tee off 80 feet above the canyon floor.

The Challenge Course

Architect:  John Thronson
Description:
New in 1999 is our Challenge course. Just 3,684 yards long, this course is much more than just a short 18. It has been designed to be a very playable round for the beginning golfer, but still a challenge for the seasoned player who is working on the short game.
