Resort Overview
Our resort estate is nestled high in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Tall hemlocks and mountain laurel accent the mixed hardwoods of this 1400-acre resort. Majestic mountains, a private thirty-five acre lake, and gardens surround our historic country inn. Golf Overview
Each of the 18 holes on the golf course is a new scenic experience. All tees, fairways, and greens are lined by tall trees and offer scenic vistas. Designed by the late, eminent golf course architect, George W. Cobb, ASGCA, the course features bent grass greens and plays at 6,012 yards from the back tees. Golf Courses

Mr. Cobb, who designed more than 350 courses, complimented High Hampton by saying, "I have yet to see a course - designed by me or by others - with greater natural beauty or one more enjoyable to play." The par 3, 137 yard famed 8th hole, upon which Golf Digest bestowed the title "One of America's Great Golf Holes", is rivaled by 17 others, each one equally beautiful and equally challenging.

Dining
High Hampton is proud of its fine cuisine. All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are served buffet style and feature a selection of traditional southern dishes such as High Hampton fried chicken, fresh local trout, prime rib, and other entrees that are accompanied by fresh vegetables and bread. During lunch and dinner, guests may also enjoy delicious soups, a full salad bar, and tempting desserts. Breakfast features fresh fruits and gourmet selections.The Overlook
Located next to the Pro Shop and Gift Shop. The Overlook serves sandwiches, snacks, coffee, beer, wine, soft drinks, ice cream, and sweets.
Rock Mountain Tavern
Rock Mountain Tavern is a place to meet fellow guests. There is music for your listening and dancing enjoyment. Attire is casual before 6:30 - coat and tie afterwards. Mixed drinks may be purchased from 5 to 10 PM.
