As a guest of Eseeola Lodge, you may enjoy the privileges of the spectacular Linville Golf Club. Designed by Donald Ross in 1924, this 18-hole championship course consistently ranks among the best courses in the Carolinas. Golf Magazine has awarded Linville Golf Club a Silver Medal for being one of the "Best Golf Resorts in America." If variety is the spice of life, your palate is in for a real treat. Executive Chef John Hofland and his 48-member staff of culinary masters rotate the menu daily. Chef Hofland describes the food as "an eclectic blend of international cuisine with a Southern accent".

Gentlemen are required to wear a coat for the evening meal, which features four elegant courses with a choice of seven entrées. Perhaps sautéed local trout with candied pecans, white grapes and chervil butter sounds appetizing. Or try the grilled filet of Black Angus Beef with Sonoma Valley Foie Gras with truffled Armagnac sauce. Delicious breakfast selections are available to suit light or hearty appetites. Lunch is available at the Grill Room of the Linville Golf Club, just a one block stroll away. Resort casual wear is appropriate for the daytime meals.

While guests of Eseeola Lodge enjoy breakfast and dinner daily as part of their accommodations package, those staying elsewhere in the high country may still come and dine with us simply by making a reservation for one of our fabulous meals.
