The Otesaga is one of New York State's most distinctive resorts. The Otesaga and its famed Leatherstocking Golf Course overlook the pristine waters of Lake Otsego in America's most perfect village, Cooperstown, New York. The Leatherstocking Golf Course, which follows the beautiful yet challenging contours of Lake Otsego and described as one of the most scenic courses in the country, tied for 2nd place in the Northeast as rated by the highly regarded Zagat Guide. Zagat said that the Leatherstocking is "among the most interesting courses in NYS," with "difficult approaches," "lots of bunkers" and "one of the best finishing holes ever" along Lake Otsego.

The Otesaga features an imaginative and varied menu each day, emphasizing foods from central New York State. The Otesaga is a Modified American Plan Resort. Each day begins with choice of table service or selections from our breakfast buffet in our bright and elegant Main Dining Room. The evening dinner, at which gentlemen are required to wear a jacket, is accompanied by candlelight and piano music. A selection of fine domestic wines is available.

Luncheon options include a wonderful selection offered by the Hawkeye Bar and Grill, an American Grill at The Otesaga. A sumptuous luncheon buffet is served in the Main Dining Room with seating on the Lakeside Patio overlooking the pool, the indelible viewscape of Lake Otsego, and our Leatherstocking Golf Course.

The meeting facilities at The Otesaga include a selection of conference and meeting rooms, the Grand Ballroom, and a variety of on-site locations to complement your social agenda. Arrangements may also be made for social receptions at local venues such as The Farmers' Museum, Fenimore Art Museum, Glimmerglass Opera, and The National Baseball Hall of Fame.
