Links Course at Lake Placid Resort
Architect: Seymour DunnDescription:
Our Links course is the only fully irrigated course in Lake Placid. It was designed in 1909 by the renowned Scottish architect Seymour Dunn. Dunn remained true to his origins, and the Links course represents Scottish Links style golf at its best with bunker-laden fairways, native fescue, and large undulating greens.

Dining
Lake Placid Resort Hotel and Golf Club DiningVeranda Restaurant
Since opening more than a decade ago, Veranda Restaurant has developed a reputation as being one of the finest restaurants in the region. This stately manor was constructed with painstaking attention to the masonry of its fireplaces and woodworking throughout. Of particular interest are the early 19th Century stained glass windows imported from Germany (pictured above right). Veranda's menu offers both traditional American and French cuisine, prepared by world-class chefs. Whether you choose to dine on Veranda's covered deck overlooking the lake, or amidst the classic appointments of the Hearth room, the ambiance is uniquely Adirondack, and the food a culinary delight.
The Boat House
A perfect Adirondack evening begins at the Boat House Restaurant on the pristine shores of Mirror Lake. The menu features seafood, pasta dishes, savory items from the grill, and garden fresh salads. With its large covered deck extending out over the water, the Boat House affords a truly memorable vantage point, making it a favorite dining spot among locals and visitors to the area
GolfHouse Restaurant
Overlooking the historic 100 year old Lake Placid Resort golf courses, the GolfHouse Restaurant (pictured above and left), has quickly become a favorite location for everything from a casual lunch to spectacular wedding receptions. Dining on our outdoor patio provides sweeping views of the High Peaks' sierra, while indoors you'll discover open beam ceilings, a massive stone fireplace and magnificent antler chandeliers.

Arturo's Ristorante and the Birch Bar lounge are conveniently located off the main lobby area of the hotel. In addition to serving breakfast and lunch, Arturo's offers an Italian / American dinner menu including a "create your own" pasta buffet.
