Located just minutes from the Detroit Metro Airport and the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti areas, Eagle Crest Resort touts itself as "The Resort of Southeast Michigan" and is well equipped for overnight stays, corporate conferences, weddings, receptions, meetings, charity galas and golf outings. The property is home to the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest. The hotel, which is an eight-story high rise overlooking scenic Ford Lake, has 235 guest rooms and suites -- each coming with wireless Internet access, three telephones with data ports and many other amenities. Eagle Crest Conference Resort has more than 23,000 square feet of meeting and conference space, which includes two auditoriums, five seminar rooms, eight conference rooms and an executive board room. All conference rooms have large windows with natural daylight, room-darkening roller shades and ergonomic armchairs. For special events, Eagle Crest can offer both large banquet spaces or smaller meeting rooms. The resort features a comprehensive food and beverage service as well as audio/visual services. Eagle Crest Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Karl Litten. The par-72 layout plays at 6,735 yards from the rear tees and has a course rating of 72.9 and a slop rating of 140.
