Located in the heart of America's Summer Golf Capitol, A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort is just minutes from Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey and all the natural wonders of Northern Michigan. The par-72 layout is spectacularly situated on high bluffs overlooking Torch Lake, considered to be one of the three most beautiful inland lakes in the world. The course spreads gracefully over 500 acres. It meanders over hill and dale, through stately pines and mature hardwoods, and across swift-flowing creeks. It's the essence of golfing in Northern Michigan. Tee locations vary the course length from a very demanding 6,700 yards to a more forgiving 4,925 yards. After the game, relax in the clubhouse or on the deck with your favorite beverage and sandwich. The clubhouse also offers a pro shop and club rental. Lessons and a large driving range are available. Jim Neff, senior editor of the Michigan Golfer, stated that A-Ga-Ming has the three best opening and finishing holes in Northern Michigan. Golf Courses

In the last five years A-Ga-Ming has gone from a two and a half star to a four star rating by Golf Digest. The major change was changing a few holes, number sixteen that used to be a par four (a little tricky) to a beautiful par three shooting straight out at Torch Lake, and number seventeen that was a tough par 3 into a great par 4. The hole from tee to green is brand new, opened in spring of 2000. These changes along with a beautification and tee restoration programs have really improved the course and brought it to the level it is today. We think everyone will enjoy the layout and love the views of one of the nicest courses in Northern Michigan.
