Begin your golf experience with a course offering breathtaking ocean vistas and complete your round on one of the most challenging finishing holes in New England. With the completion of our new 474 yard, par four 18th the Samoset Resort continues to be ranked one of New England's premier resort golf destinations and was chosen as the site of the 2002 PGA Junior Series Event, the first time this event has ever been in New England. Samoset Resort Golf Club has been named by Golf Digest as the "Top Ranked Resort Course in New England," and also was the magazine's choice as the No. 52 "Best Upscale Course in the U.S." Designed by Robert Elder in 1902, Samoset Resort celebrated its centennial year in 2002. The course features some of the most spectacular views of Penobscot Bay, with a newly constructed granite seawall separating the golfer from the Atlantic Ocean.

The Clubhouse Grille is overlooking the golf course offering light lunches as well as full bar service until dusk. With seating inside and on the covered porch of our spacious clubhouse, you don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy this dining experience.

Overlooking the golf course and open ocean offering casual dining, from big breakfasts and light lunches to hearty dinners. Children's menu available. Patio dining offered seasonally. Full bar service.

The recently renovated Samoset Resort offers the ultimate in meeting facilities for groups as few as 10 or as many as 650.
