Maine's premier four season resort, in the heart of historic Bethel, Maine. A 200-acre resort with award winning fine dining, a heated outdoor pool, tennis court, fitness center, private lake house, conference and meeting facilities and a Guaranteed Performance PGA Golf School. Our 6,663 yard, 18 hole championship golf course offers beautiful mountain vistas with five tee positions to suit every ability. Golf Overview

Originally built in 1913, our course remained nine holes of little recognition until 1988 when it was redesigned and expanded to 18 holes by the renowned architect Geoffrey Cornish. Today our 6,663 yard, par 72 course takes maximum advantage of the mountain vistas and natural beauty of the area. Large well trapped greens, tree-lined fairways and four tee positions make play challenging for golfers of every ability.

As a guest of our resort you are entitled to unlimited play on our course, including an ‘extra day’ on your days of arrival and departure. Our golf season begins in early May and runs until late October. It isn’t unusual to ski in the morning and play golf in the afternoon in early spring and late fall. America's Greatest Golf Resorts magazine has rated our layout among the top ten resort courses in all of the Northeast and Golf Digest magazine has awarded us with 3 1/2 stars. Home of the New England PGA Fall Festival Pro-Am, the State of Maine Championships, and a stop on the North Atlantic Tour, our course is respected as one of the best in New England.

Dining

Fine dining is a hallmark of The Bethel Inn and Country Club. Our menus are creative, and entrees are well prepared by our award winning chef, Stephen Stone. We have been honored by Wine Spectator Magazine for our extensive international wine list.

Fine Dining in the Main Dining Room includes traditional New England and Continental fare, offering an abundance of entree selections nightly. Enjoy the freshest seafood (lobster, of course) or our prime rib, of try one of Chef Stone's veal, duck, vegetarian or lamb entrees. Music on the Steinway, candlelight on the tables, glowing fireplaces, and attentive service, guarantee an evening to remember.

Casual dining is available in our Millbrook Tavern and Grille, every day for lunch or dinner, offering affordable family fare to satisfy every appetite. The Tavern provides a congenial atmosphere for gathering with friends or making new ones.

Nightly entertainment in the summer and on weekends in the winter, 5 big screen TVs, billiards, single malts, and a tremendous beer selection make the Tavern a great escape!
