Welcome to The Bluffs on Thompson Creek, a unique Golf Club and Community that offers a private club atmosphere to our guests. The Lodge is a small, exclusive, all suites facility overlooking the beautifully wooded golf course and Club at The Bluffs on Thompson Creek. Guests of The Lodge are welcomed into the private club environment and can arrange to use the Arnold Palmer golf course and the other recreational Club amenities. The overnight facilities at The Bluffs include 37 one-bedroom suites and one two-bedroom "Conference Suite."

Arnold Palmer was granted complete freedom to route his golf course at The Bluffs through each of the diverse landscapes of the property, and eight separate routings were staked and walked before the best 18 holes were discovered. Only after the most dramatic golf holes were found was the surrounding residential community planned. The result of Palmer's patient search for the routing of the course is a naturally beautiful golf course featuring uniquely different holes with excellent memorability.

The beautiful Plantation style Clubhouse at The Bluffs overlooks the spectacular ninth hole and provides the perfect setting for a casual lunch on the veranda, a cocktail in the Grill, or an elegant evening meal in the Dining Room. Louisiana cuisine with a French influence (especially fresh seafood dishes) and prime steaks are specialties.

The easy accessibility, yet quiet secluded setting at The Bluffs is ideal for executive conference groups. Since The Lodge opened in 1992, The Bluffs has become a very popular executive retreat for conference groups of 50 attendees or less. Several different meeting options are available. Our group meeting coordinator will help you decide which facilities best accommodate your needs and help plan every detail of your stay including recreation, meals, historic tours, etcetera.

The Clubhouse at The Bluffs offers two meeting rooms that accommodate larger groups. The Lodge also offers one Conference Suite that accommodates smaller groups of up to 12 attendees each. All the meeting facilities at The Bluffs have some audio-visual equipment, flexible seating options, and a variety of food services. Computer modem, telephone hook-ups, fax and photocopying services are available, as well as additional equipment needed.

Banquets are a specialty at The Bluffs. The variety of indoor and outdoor banquet locales on site makes each function an "event." In addition to two private banquet rooms, a semi-private dining room, the veranda, patio, and pavilion are all available for private group functions. Our restaurant staff is able to prepare almost anything your group desires from formal dinner parties to casual Barbeques and Hamburger Cook-outs.
