Resort Overview

This isn't just any resort on any island. This is the Princeville Resort, set gracefully on 23 acres on Pu'u Poa Ridge, and terraced along the bluff facing Hanalei Bay. Choose from one of 252 impeccably appointed rooms and suites, all boasting spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, Hanalei Bay and the Na Molokama. With lush landscaping and brilliant tropical flowers in abundance, the Princeville Resort is dazzling in its natural beauty.

Golf Overview

All too infrequently does the perfection of nature and creativity of man intersect in absolute harmony. At Princeville Resort, however, they blend gloriously. Here you are surrounded by beauty, no matter where you are or what you choose to do and at the heart of the Princeville experience is golf. But not just any kind of golf. In collaboration with nature, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. has fashioned 45 of the most beautiful, tropical holes of golf in the world. They range along green bluffs that skirt mountains and the bluest ocean, offering stunning views everywhere you look.

Golf Courses

Prince Course at Princeville Resort

Architect:  Robert Trent Jones, Jr.
Description:
Golf Digest has named The Prince Course the Number One golf course in the State of Hawaii. It is also included in their prestigious list of "America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses." The Prince is one of Hawaii's most challenging golf courses, with a USGA course rating of 75.3 and a 145 slope. But fear not. Five different tees on each hole allow you to set your own challenge. Named after Prince Albert, the only son of King Kamehameha IV and Queen Emma, The Prince is Robert Trent Jones, Jr.'s masterpiece. Looking as if it had emerged full-blown from nature, it chugs uphill, jumps ravines and careens downhill like a roller-coaster.
