There are two championship golf courses at Waikoloa. Both designed by the leading names in golf today. The scenic splendor of the Kohala Coast borders the spectacular Waikoloa Beach Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and the majesty of Hawaii's extinct volcanoes is a dramatic backdrop for the famed Waikoloa Kings' Course, a Tom Weiskopf/Jay Morrish design. Set among the lava fields and adjacent to the ocean, the Waikoloa courses offer fabulous golf for all skill levels, and are among the very best in Hawaii.

Waikoloa Beach Course

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the resort-style Beach Course is literally carved through the magnificent lava flows along Anaeho'omalu Bay. The Beach course features numerous sand bunkers, brilliant water features and the most spectacular oceanfront par-five in Hawaii on the 502-yard, twelfth hole. This challenging yet scenic hole has lava throughout and runs along the Pacific Ocean along a point where views of breaching whales and vistas of the other Hawaiian Islands are not uncommon.

Designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, this Scottish-links style layout features numerous pot bunkers, undulating fairways multiple tee placements and lava outcroppings thoughout. Upon opening in 1990, the Kings' Course was ranked as one of the top new courses you can play by Golf Digest.
