The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort

Located on St. Simon's Island, the King & Beach Golf Resort sits right along the beaches of the sparkling Atlantic, surrounded by mature oak trees and salt marshes. Opened in 1935, the King & Prince is on the National Register of Historic Places and it is a member of Historic Hotels of America. The spectacular landscape provides the perfect setting for a challenging round of golf. The resort's lush 18-hole course features four unique holes that are carved from small coastal marsh islands that are accessed by cart bridges. There are also two tennis courts, five swimming pools, and a fully equipped fitness center. In addition to the plentiful activities on-site at the resort, guests can enjoy the historical attractions of St. Simon's Island. Nearby is Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in the U.S., and Fort Frederica, which was established in 1736. There are also water parks, shopping, and several nature trails surrounding the resort.
