Resort Overview
Families have been coming to these beaches for generations. For many of them, the visits grew longer and longer with each passing year, until these Southern shores became their home-away-from-home. They built simple beach cottages that took advantage of the breezes and offered broad views of the gulf. Here, they created a unique Southern coastal lifestyle. It seems fitting that WaterColor Inn pays homage to that custom while forging its own identity. Designed by David Rockwell, the Inn combines the warmth and hospitality associated with traditional Southern grand hotels, the intimacy of bed-and-breakfast inns and the charm of classic beach houses. Golf Overview
Located just off of Northwest Florida's Scenic Highway 30A, just west of Panama City Beach, there is a water and sand experience of a different sort at the Tom Fazio-designed Camp Creek Golf Club. This private golf course is master-planned for 36 holes, the first 18 of which opened for play in May 2001 along with a driving range, golf shop, and snack bar. Golf Courses

Dining
One of the more basic but most enjoyable aspects of life is eating. WaterColor® offers everything from a corner grocer to a corner table in the inventive Fish Out of Water restaurant. Whatever you're hungry for, you can find it in the restaurants and eateries around WaterColor.Fish Out of Water
Located on the second floor of the WaterColor Inn and overlooking the Gulf, Fish Out of Water celebrates Southern art and nature with a fire-and-ice theme, which is anchored by an exhibition grill kitchen and an ice bar bearing fresh seafood and sushi.

BaitHouse Restaurant
Overlooking Western Lake, the BaitHouse restaurant with its deep porches recalls the fish camps found along the bays and backwaters of Northwest Florida. A tower distinguishes the restaurant as a landmark and reinforces its proximity to the lake. During nice weather, the big sash windows open to the cooling breezes from the lake. After an afternoon on the beach, head to the BaitHouse for dinner and watch the sun go down as the children have one last swim in the adjacent pool. You can sample grilled or steamed seafood, burgers and sandwiches, fish and fried shrimp baskets or ribs and steaks.
WaterColor Market
A morning pilgrimage to the WaterColor Market promises great things. Here you can start the day with Starbucks coffee, a cranberry muffin or sausage biscuit, and The New York Times. Later in the day, sample the light gooey pastries, freshly baked breads, fruit tarts, wild green salads, gourmet cheeses, rotisserie chicken and the best soups around. After a delicious lunch, grab a basket and enjoy roaming through an extensive wine selection in addition to a wide selection of specialty foods, exotic dips and sauces, candies in glass jars just like you remember having as a kid, and a host of cool drinks and sparkling waters. You couldn't get fresher produce unless you picked it yourself.
The quintessential corner grocer, WaterColor Market is the place to find everything you need to make your stay complete, including household necessities, magazines, picnic baskets, box lunches and a colorful array of WaterColor.
