Surrounded by palm trees and sand dunes, the Lodge & Club at Ponte Vedra Beach is a tropical oceanfront oasis just outside of Jacksonville. The 68 rooms and suites, all of which have an ocean view, have a Spanish-influenced architecture that lends the look of a coastal European village. Naturally the beach is the most popular attraction with a location on one of Florida's most beautiful. Kayaks, surfboards, and bikes are available. The area's temperate climate allows guests to enjoy golf and tennis year-round. There are two 18-hole championship courses on-site, the Ocean Course, a seaside links golf course, and the Lagoon Course, which Robert Trent Jones helped design. Guests also have access to the renowned Players Stadium Course and Valley Course at Sawgrass. Voted the top tennis resort on the East Coast by Tennis Magazine, avid players will enjoy the tennis facilities the Lodge & Club, which include 15 clay courts, eight of which are lighted for evening play. The Lodge & Club also features four swimming pulls, a full-service spa, and an expansive fitness center.
