South Seas Island Resort

Coasting along 2 and a half miles of white sand beaches at the tip of Captiva Island, South Seas Island Resort overlooks the tranquil waters of the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to being a resort village, South Seas is a 330-acre protected wildlife sanctuary that offers scenic biking and walking trails. The beach provides plenty of activities including jet skiing, parasailing, and kayaking not to mention swimming. Fishing at South Seas is popular since the waters of the Gulf Coast offer a stunning variety of fish including spotted sea trout, Spanish mackerel, and grouper. The resort boasts one of the top five short courses in the world and guests are also welcome to use the 18-hole golf course at the Dunes Golf & Tennis Club on Sanibel Island. There is a fitness center with 19 tennis courts as well as 19 swimming pools throughout the resort, providing activities for the whole family. After a busy day, guests can relax at the full-service spa, which also offers yoga and pilates classes.
