Regatta Bay

Resort Overview

Situated just east of the mid-bay bridge and Destin Commons, Regatta Bay is one of northwest Florida's premier golfing destinations. It has been ranked as one of the top 15 courses in the state and it also made Golf Digest's list of the top places to play in North America. The resort sprawls across the scenic nature preserves that sit along the Choctawatchee Bay. Robert C. Walker, who was the former lead architect for Arnold Palmer, designed the course. The layout is just under 6,900 yards from the back tees, offering a formidable test while still being playable for a range of skill levels. The course is filled with risk-reward opportunities and every hole has a different character that calls for a unique strategy. Shot placement is key on this course with strategically placed bunkers complete with twisting fingers and bays. You will also be greatly rewarded if you have the self-discipline to play conservatively when necessary. The finishing hole has the most memorable risk-reward opportunity. Those who are daring can try for the two-tiered green in two with a big drive, but if you play it safe, be sure to leave an approach shot of no less than 100 yards. After your round, relax in the magnificent clubhouse, which has a private library, fully stocked pro shop, and a first class dining room.
