Guests have a choice of playing the 18-hole links-style golf of the Islandside course or the tree-lined Harbourside course, which is composed of 3 nine-hole layouts. With 45 holes of PGA championship golf set in lush tropical landscapes, two fully-stocked pro shops and a variety of instruction options, it's easy to see why Golf Magazine has consistently awarded Longboat Key Club the Silver Medal as an outstanding golf facility. Islandside Course

Known as the "watery challenge," the 6,792 yard Islandside course borders the Gulf of Mexico with water hazards coming into play on all 18 holes. Accuracy off the tee is essential, while Tifdwarf grass on the greens ensures smooth putting surfaces.
More than 5,000 palm trees and pink and white blooming oleander line the fairways and canals, making Islandside one of Florida’s most beautiful courses. Additionally, Longboat Key Club’s location in a bird sanctuary brings an abundance of colorful "birdies" to the course.

Harborside White/Blue Course

The Harbourside course presents a completely different golf experience from the Islandside course. This challenging 27-hole layout is composed of 3 nine-hole courses designed by Willard Byrd: the Red course is 3,323 yards, the White course 3,426 yards, and the Blue course 3,386.
Bordering Sarasota Bay, the course plays through stands of oak, sabal palm, fig, palmetto, fiddleleaf palm, Washingtonian palm, and southern pine. Tree lined fairways and swirling winds put a premium on shot-making and course strategy. The prevailing breezes from the Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota Bay keep Harbourside a refreshing challenge year round.
