Primo
As the signature Orlando restaurant at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes, Primo showcases the unique culinary skills, ideas and techniques of acclaimed chef Melissa Kelly. As winner of the 1999 James Beard Foundation Awards for Best Chef in the Northeast, Chef Kelly maintains an award-winning reputation for farm-fresh produce and organic gardening, adding an Italian sensibility to the cuisine at this Orlando restaurant to enhance the flavors of native Floridian ingredients.
In keeping with Chef Kelly's "home-grown" concept, this Orlando Florida restaurant features its own organic garden supplying the natural ingredients, vegetables and herbs used in cooking. This restaurant also works with the Florida Organic Growers Association to ensure the freshest ingredients for all dishes served.
This new restaurant in Orlando carries the award-winning tradition established at Kelly's original Primo restaurant in Rockland, Maine, which has been featured in national culinary and lifestyle press such as Gourmet, The New York Times and O, the Oprah magazine.
