The New Course at Grand Cypress, which opened in 1988, adds another dimension of play with steeper and more challenging bunkers and slopes. Set in the midst of an open meadow, the New Course was inspired by the Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland. Visions of the St. Andrews course appear throughout the New Course at Grand Cypress, including pot bunkers as deep as 12 feet, seven large, double greens, a snaking burn (creek) on three holes, stone walls along the 15th and 17th holes (resembling the 17th hole at St. Andrews, known as the "Road Hole") and even a stone bridge. Very little water comes into play and few trees are located within the interior of the course, allowing ample room to drive the ball.

White Horse is a sports' lovers dream complete with game time at the bar, Direct TV hookup and large screen televisions. The upscale eatery offers an innovative menu, created by our award-winning Chef, Kenneth Juran. The expansive appetizer list and entrees feature the highest quality steaks, fresh seafood, tender lamb chops and more. Perched atop our rock grotto overlooking the palm fringed, lagoon-like pool, Hemingways is architecturally inviting, it recreates the ambience and flavor of Old Florida from the pre-dinner specialty drink, "The Papa Doble", to coffee and dessert. Cascade elevates the main dining room to a new art form with such exciting design elements as a brass spiral staircase and a 35-foot bronze mermaid sculpture.

Stand quietly for a moment in the impressive multilevel terraced lobby and listen, the faint sound of a waterfall can be discerned. As you draw closer to this inviting sound there appears a beautiful 35-foot bronze mermaid sculpture, the focal point of a fountain occupying center stage of Cascade's two-story atrium-styled room. Descending a magnificent spiral staircase you will immediately recognize its intimacy created by the tropical plants and trees arranged amidst the rattan tables and chairs. Once you are comfortably seated, enjoy vistas that range from a peaceful lagoon replete with swans and wading birds, to Lake Windsong with its white sand beach and jungle-like gardens with winding footpaths.
