Ranked as one of the top courses in California, the natural terrain of the rugged Northern California coast is the perfect setting for its traditional Scottish design. With prevailing ocean winds, tight fairways and knolls, the course offers a challenging test for golfers in an ideal setting.

Description:
Originally designed by Francis Duane and Arnold Palmer in 1973, the Old Course was redesigned by Arthur Hills in 1999. It is a Parkland-style course with a home hole that plays next to the ocean waves. Cypress trees line the fairways and surround these generous, yet challenging greens.

The Conservatory
The Conservatory exemplifies the seaside lodge atmosphere with hardwood floors, comfortable furnishings and telescopes to view the sea. The room seats up to 48 guests and is open from sunrise until late in the evening with a complete bar specializing in locally inspired cocktails such as the "Mavericks."
The Salon
With an old world tradition becoming a new trend, the resort's tea salon offers guests an opportunity to indulge in the ritual. The Salon presents afternoon tea daily with stunning views of the ocean and offers the finest tea, traditional finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and English teacakes served on London's Wedgewood Tapestry china.
Spa
Derived from the Latin phrase, "sanitas per aqua," the word spa is an acronym literally meaning "health through water." Following this tradition of caring for the body and soul, guests entering the 16,000-square-foot Spa will discover calming views of the Pacific Ocean and enjoy the comforting sounds of the sea inside with tranquility fountains throughout the facility.The Spa features 16 treatment rooms, gentlemen and ladies' lounges with whirlpool, steam rooms and sauna facilities. For a tranquil respite before or after treatments, guests can relax in the candlelit co-ed Roman Mineral Bath or at the oceanfront Jacuzzi.
